He did it! Abdul won in Michigan. A socialist leaning candidate, endorsed by Bernie and other Democratic Socialists won in the Midwest!! Next up, a victory for Hong in Wisconsin. We are back, baby. Long live the memory of Dan Hoan, Frank Zeidler, and Fighting Bob Lafollette!!!!

It's official now!
$80 million spent to defeat Abdul el-Sayed, yet here we are!
The Democratic party establishment tried to block him, checkmate him, undermine him, yet here we are!
The people have spoken!

The thing is, take away he's criticisms of Netanyahu & Israel's behavior in the Middle East, Abdul is a pretty mainstream guy in terms of current DSA politics.
At least to my readings!

Right now he's giving his victory speech!

AND, CHUCK SCHUMER MUST GO!
HAKEEM JEFFRIES MUST GO!
JAMES CLYBURN MUST GO!
AIPAC MUST GO!

lol, off my chest!

Now i'm about to prepare a memo to the DSA.

Victory in Michigan too on for some guy named Lawrence Williams.

Never heard of him before this win in Michigan's 7th Congressional district..
Just read a bit of his bio and i'm impressed..
He could be even bigger & more successful than el-Sayed..
For sure a rising star in the DSA gallaxy!

Again, much to much money in politics, that's why AIPAC is able to buy so many of our politicians..

As someone pointed out a short while ago: don't mind the margin of victory, Abdul defeated over $30 million of AIPAC ads, as well as an opponent backed by Schumer, Pelosi, Gretchen Whitmer, and Gary Peter's.

And hadn't Haley Stevens done so well among Black voters, it would have been a blow out!

tidbit: Donavan Mckinney, a Black DSA, also won in Michigan... Cool!!...Nt

Kamala Harris is going full DSA!
You'd think she's a member of the party!
She's all over the place meeting with every successful DSA candidate!
😁.. she's very busy distancing herself & her politics from the Democratic party establishment. What a disgrace!

It's going to be interesting to see what impact the rise of the DSA will have on corporate Dems. Did you get a chance to hear "comandante" Harris' address to the National Urban League in Nashville this past week? Get a load of this following excerpt I found from her speech:

They are ruthless (Republicans). We need to be ruthless, too. And by that, I do not mean cruel. That is not our nature. By that I do not mean breaking the law. That is not what we do. But I do mean we must be uncompromising. And we must allow for a real conversation about revisiting certain things. For example, and I know this is going to be controversial coming from me, in particular, we need to revisit the Electoral College. We need to revisit the point of expanding the court to 13 justices like we have 13 district courts. We need to revisit, if they so want, statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C. … If we regain control of the Senate … the Senate Judiciary Committee has the power to create rules for its committee that don’t have to go to the whole Senate for a vote and worry about filibuster and all of that.

Start popping the popcorn. Things are going to get interesting.
