Let’s give it up for Barrister Owolabi Salis

This trailblazing Nigerian lawyer(62 yrs old Owolabi Salis) photo below made history by becoming the first Nigerian ever in space last year!!

He's a true inspiration, and his achievement is a testament to the power of determination and hard work.

Salis, a chartered accountant and attorney with licenses to practice in both Nigeria and the US, flew aboard Blue Origin's NS-33 mission on June 29, 2025, alongside five other astronauts.

Honestly, this remarkable feat marks a significant milestone in the "democratization" of space travel.

Yeah, the "democratization" is one of the things we seriously need on many fields in Morocco and the Arab world socially speaking.

Do you have any idea of how HARD it is to become the first African lawyer in China??? Not easy AT ALL!! Even Non-Chinese Asians might find this task very difficult in China. Just the language itself can be a mental challenge that can block your progress toward a goal. I mean all of her plaintiffs and defendants in China are CHINESE and speak Chinese only!! Plus she has to adopt the Chinese law.

Anyway, this year of 2026, Dr. Justina Obaoye(photo below) became indeed the first African lawyer to appear in Chinese courts, shares her journey from Nigeria to becoming a high-level human rights advocate in the Asia-Pacific. Her story proves that by owning your story and seeking sovereign learning, you can turn cultural differences into a "Signature Asset" that provides global influence.

Major kudos to her. I am still clapping my hands!!
