Bahamians in Miami during the 19th century(photo below)Yet Trump wants to cancel the "Green Cards" on some of the Caribbean Islands, especially Jamaica.

LOL, a guy whose ancestors walked in illegally right in the face of the Native-Indians, is now talking about banning Green cards to certain Islands. Get out of my face!!!

FACTS!
ALL TRUE!

In Sydney Poiter's book, This Life, he more or less reminded folks of that history - he had family in that area and he was born there(miami)..
Always proud of his Bahamian background & heritage..

I think the city of Chicago has a similar Caribbean backdrop in this case with Haitians, if I remember correctly.

Yessss, indeed, the same is true for Chicago and we spoke a few years ago about this guy below(see photo) after I've posted an article and video about him.

Haitian dude Jean Baptiste Point du Sable is widely recognized as the first permanent non-Indigenous settler and founder of Chicago. In the late 1770s or early 1780s, he built a large, prosperous trading post at the mouth of the Chicago River, establishing the foundation for the city.
