Post Falls, Idaho : Mayor Kris Columbus Removed Juneteenth holiday and "Reinstate" Columbus Day

On February 17 2026 Post Falls, Idaho Mayor Randy Westlund(photo below) backed a 4–2 city council vote to remove Juneteenth as a paid municipal holiday for city employees and restore Columbus Day in its place. Ha-ha-ha, this is outrageous.
Its amazing that none of you who live in the US have heard of it. LOL!!
Btw I've checked on Post Falls, Idaho, population, and it says about 38.000 Whites vs 2000 Blacks. LOL!!

He's a political opportunist hitching his political ambitions into an anti-black MAGA atmosphere in America. Trumpkkk & his Nazis aren't playing, they are serious. Maybe this piece of shit has presidential ambitions so he's throwing Black folks under the bus - that's appealing to the MAGA crowd.
My prediction: Juneteenth will no longer be a federal holiday in the next couple of years. Plus, I don't see Black folks making a big deal of the day - at least not in Texas, which is a bit ironic.
hmmm, now that I think about it, why wasn't this big news across the nation...AND HE DID THIS IN FEBRUARY, BLACK HISTORY MONTH? OUCH😲🫨
