hmm, just heard a nice piece of Jazz music and I swore it was Cassandra Wilson, BUT NO😊, it was Rhonda Ross, the daughter of Diana Ross & Berry Gordy.
It was such a beautiful bit of vocalizing, but to be honest, not as good as Cassandra.
RIP CASSANDRA WILSON. AMEN

Two gorgeous Black women desperately trying to keep Jazz music relevant to todays Black community but with little success. If wasn't for the mostly white concert goers & consumers, who knows what would have been the fate of Jazz music, particularly for Black female performers.
