Trump at the General Assembly

"This man is stark, raving mad.
Do Americans not see how embarrassing
this is?

Anonymous foreign diplomat's text
to a Washington Post reporter

Trump's inner nature and disposition were on full display yesterday at the 81st UN General Assembly. His hubris, arrogance, and megalomania were front and center. His stance at the podium, his perpetual frown, and his tone of voice made that crystal clear. Mussolini, and yes, Hitler himself, would have been proud seeing his performance as he boasted about annihilating Iran and stealing Venezuela's oil with his outrageous remark that "to the victor go the spoils."

Man, this is bad!
Appalling!
Reckless as shit!

That's why I keep asking myself here on the board, "how did we get here?"

And if you think this is bad, reading the transcript is surreal.

"to the Victor go the spoils."
THAT KIND OF ATTITUDE IS EXACTLY WHY THE UN CAME INTO BEING TO PREVENT!
Yet here you have the most powerful man on the planet, the President of the United States, engaging in such despicable language, including threatening to "annihilate" a foreign nation who has not attacked America. Wtf????

tidbit: Trump vs Iran leader at UN Assembly.....ha! ha!

😁😁🤣.. it takes an idiot like Donald Trump to make the Iranian leader, Masoud Pezeshkian, sound rational, sane, and a like a Civil Rights leader.
Don't mean to underplay the Iran regimes shortcomings but....
