Just so we are clear on our leagues ejection policies and protocol. If a player is ejected for any reason that player is to leave the field immediately. If they refuse to leave they will subject their team to forfeit that game. If the player disagrees with the ejection he is to notify Joe Anthony (610-999-0890). At that point your are to explain your case to him and name any witnesses willing to be called by Joe Anthony. At that point Joe will contact the commitee and we will set up an appeal hearing asap. The committee will also contact the witnesses to get there side of the story. If we find there stories credible more then likely your suspension will be overturned. If we don't the suspension will stick. At no time is anyone to call me during this process. We are usually quick to resolve any issues but until it gets done the investigation part by the umpire in chief and the players player rep I am completely out of the scenario. This is why we have a staff to handle these issues so I don't have to get involved. It won't help your case because I don't have a vote on any appeals unless it's a tie. So for future reference calling me is a waste of time. I cannot hurt or help your cause. Hopefully this will stop all of the players legal team from calling me to plead his or her case. Thanks again and hopefully this will clear up any issues going forward.
