a complete revolt to wrest their state government back out of the hands of those who remained so open minded that their brains slid out.

I still stand firm on my opinion that the state needs to be divided into two - North California and South California. Controlling 54 electoral votes has given the state too much power and, I believe, it has lead to their inflated sense of the right to outrageously govern.

What a pity that one of the most beautiful areas of the country has been politically destroyed.
