...OMG, what a mess.

First, she is going ballistic about going home. She is afraid that Medicaid will take her home if she does not return soon. I told her she has nothing to worry about.

Second, we went by the house after visiting her. I cannot imagine that the house can be made livable again. It is totally saturated with cat urine and there is feces everywhere. She was also apparently a hoarder. The entire contents of the house need to be thrown out and the house will have to be gutted all the way to the 2x4's. It is too much for friends and relatives to handle. It will take professionals.

As is the house is virtually worthless.
