...my sister up in northern Michigan got an ice storm that is apparently continuing. They have not had electricity since Sunday evening and they have no generator.

Being the smartass brother I told her to drive on by and I would loan her my little generator. She said her garage door is frozen closed.

We heard from her through text messages twice since then when they were able to charge their phones in neighbors' cars. They are okay but it has to wear on the nerves.

Bummer.
