This is so relevant to what I believe. And that is that no government that leaves God out, ignores or demeans Him can succeed. Now how He is or is not honored leaves room for discussion, but the basic point remains. I believe ibecause of my faith that He is our creator, sustainer and saviour. Only He can save us from ourselves. He alone is the way, the truth and the life.
The truth part is what must be a part of any government for it to flourish. It doesn’t have to be noisy; it doesn’t have to be every single person, but if it’s not the primary basis for its very being, it
will lack the underpinnings for success. America’s greatness is important only if it glorifies (acts according to His principles) God.

Some are willing to settle for less. I have no reason to.
