Over the years there has been a lot of discussion regarding the importance of endorphins as a result of exercise. I did not ever like running - but had to do it a few times a week. On the other hand, I love swimming. And I was a huge fan of Zumba - any aerobic dance for that matter. The odd thing - didn't matter whether I hated the running or loved the other activities - at completion I always felt happy. Endorphins.
