So many birthdays, so many parades and demonstrations, so many flags, so many missiles. Yet, I feel like you do.

What we need is represented by the Army birthday parade, imo. It’s a positive focus writ large, one that represents what is good, what is worthwhile, what deserves commendation (but not worship) and what encourages hope and gives people both direction and instruction about making better lives for themselves
as well as promoting healthy community - maybe putting down phones and interacting with live human beings.
