Paralyzed. - by fears
Polarized - by politics
Politicized - by religion
Persuaded - by the lust of the eyes, flesh, and pride of life
Promised - by the self-indulgent
Perverted - by the media
Prosecuted - for old school opinions about belief
Persecuted - for beliefs
Prevented - by the standards and norms of the wicked and unholy, to provide an alternative route
Permissive - on norms that placate compromise
Pre-emptive - leaving mental patients not addressing behaviors
Promotive - of " less than" lives
Passive - with our God, Jesus. and the Holy Spirit
In all these, and more, His Word is still working for, by, and with us.
Is there no fear of God?
Intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally connected people are now in deep grief and disbelief over events in our country. Praying for a great revival and recovery of despairing souls.
"If my people who are called by my name" is the beginning of a well-known Bible verse found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which describes a promise from God to respond to the repentance and prayer of His people with forgiveness and healing for their land.
The full verse states: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land".
The verse is spoken by God to King Solomon in response to Solomon's dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem.
"My People": refers to the Israelites, the people God had chosen for Himself.
"Called by My Name":
This phrase signifies a deep, inherent connection and identity with God. It implies that their actions reflect upon God Himself, and their well-being is tied to their relationship with Him.
Specific actions God's people must take:
Humility: They must humble themselves and acknowledge their dependence on God.
Prayer and Seeking God's Face: They must turn to God in prayer and earnestly seek to know and follow Him.
Turning from Wicked Ways: This is a call to sincere repentance, turning away from sin and toward God's righteousness.
God promises to:
Hear from Heaven: He will listen to their prayers.
Forgive Their Sin: He will forgive their wrongdoing.
Heal Their Land: He will restore and heal the land.
This is the call today with prayers for myself, my family, my country.
