Frankly, I dislike monarchy because there should be no hereditary offices in a democracy. HOWEVER, in practice, constitutional monarchy has been highly successful in Europe. We cannot insist on an ideologically pure regime, because that would be STUPID. The People of Iran must make their OWN CHOICES, choices made with respect to real conditions and real compromises. There is no choice between ideologically PURE democracy and the current tyranny, but between Reza Pahlavi and the crazy mullahs. The choice is EASY for reasonable persons: Long Live Shah Reza Pahlavi! Long Live the Constitutional Monarchy of Iran.
