Small wonder 220,000 California citizens fled this state last year. Next up is the “one time only” 5% socialist tax on billionaires. This is a proposal on the upcoming ballot imitative. Given the socialist majority of people in this state, the tax will be popular. However, the billionaires are already moving money out of state. Not to mention businesses. The California economy is in free fall. This state can never steal enough tax dollars from the citizenry because it never ever balances its bloated red ink budget. As an aside, this is precisely what communist Mandani has planned for NYC. I’m staying put. And my age. I’m in an enviable situation. But I look around at the declining prosperity and the growing poverty. Not only sad, but a dangerous social explosion is predictable. Hopefully, when enough is enough, the pissed populace will head to Sacramento.
