Likewise, as a kid in school I never heard about anyone who suffered from ADHD or autism. I don't remember any of the WWII, Korea or Vietnam vets back then who claimed PTSD. Nobody was transgender. Teen suicide was unheard of. I had a crazy uncle who was schizophrenic and lived in a mental institution I did not know of anyone else who was. Now I know at least 3 who claim to be schizophrenic. The only homeless people were a few "hobos" who passed through town.
It is enough to make one wonder what changed.
