I have known several teachers who have just given up and found other jobs. The parents are useless and no help. Their little angels are not the problem - the teacher is.

The only teacher I have known in quite a while who is really happy with her job is the one who quit public schools and took a job at a much lower salary in a small Christian school. There she is respected and supported by parents, students and the administration. If a child is problematic there they are asked to return to public schools. Few ever cause problems.
