There’s nothing about this news that shocks me. After enough time, a person’s attitude and behavior is so predictable that the inevitable results are broadcast.

I believe we’ll hear about a few others too. There’s just something so obvious about people with so much hatred, so much lack of restraint, so much hubris, so little respect or personal dignity, that the obvious consequence is disaster.

It is such a shame, such a waste, such a gift to the evil machinations of this world, for a human being made in the image of God making one bad choice after another until he can do no other.

I don’t feel disgust as much as I do sadness. Was there never anyone or anything in his life that encouraged him enough that he wanted to be a decent human being? Is it possible that there was plenty of encouragement, but he ignored it and chose evil? That’s sad, too. California government is the den of iniquity at the moment. His party brothers and sisters knew what was going on.
