This one I just picked up and truly believe it is real...as, there are numerous areas along the Colorado-Utah border and the Utah-Arizona border, etc...this could be found...

Hidden for centuries, new petroglyphs deep in Colorado’s rugged canyons are rewriting the story of ancient North America.
In a discovery that stretches across millennia, a team from Poland’s Jagiellonian University has uncovered vast galleries of previously unknown rock art along the Colorado–Utah border. Led by Professor Radosław Palonka, the archaeologists found petroglyphs dating as far back as the 3rd century AD, belonging to the Basketmaker Era. These early inhabitants farmed the arid land, weaving distinctive baskets and mats while recording their world in carvings of spirals, geometric figures, shamans, and warriors.
The team also documented art from the 12th and 13th centuries, a period when the Pueblo culture flourished. Some of these spirals, reaching a full meter in diameter, were likely used for astronomical observations and seasonal calendars. Later carvings, from the 15th to 17th centuries, depict rich hunting scenes of bison, deer, and bighorn sheep and reflect the arrival of the Ute tribe. After the Spanish conquest, horses, unknown to North America since the Ice Age—appear in the art, tracing a vivid timeline of contact and change.
One remarkable layer even includes a 1936 inscription by legendary cowboy Ira Cuthair, demonstrating how these cliffs continued to inspire centuries later.
The discoveries, made in hard-to-reach canyons like Sand Canyon, Graveyard Canyon, and Rock Creek Canyon, dramatically expand knowledge of ancient settlement and spirituality. Advanced surveys using LIDAR and aerial imaging are expected to reveal even more.
Strange fact: some of the largest spirals, carved 800 meters above ancient dwellings, align precisely with solstice sunlight, an ancient cosmic calendar in stone.
