I remember, when we had our grocery store in small town, USA...LOL...and an old time customer came in to get his needed chewing tobacco....and it had gone up in price....we had sold it to him at the price we paid the dealer for it for ages....but our price from the dealer went up, so I just adjusted it.....my husband told me let him have it at the old price! LOL..... I often remember this when the price of gasoline or food go up.....as long as we keep raising wages, etc, etc, etc.....we will be where we are today in the prices of everything...and we oldies, but goodies....certainly remember the price of items, as they once were......LOL UGH!!
