A reporter was permitted to ride along on an F-16 training flight. He mentioned to the pilot that he always loved roller-coasters, so the pilot gave him a treat. The plane flew up to 15,000 meters, nosed over, dived, and accelerated in free fall to supersonic speed until pulling a 6 G pull-up at 2,500 meters. That is, the plane took a 12,500 vertical drop which is far higher than the 180 meter drop of world's highest roller-coaster. That is, 70 times the biggest roller-coaster drop in the world.

The reporter said it spoiled him permanently for riding roller-coasters.
