Self driving cars might be safer in some situations, but self driving cars still make bad mistakes that human drivers don't make. This video shows a tesla crashing into an overturned truck in broad daylight. An alert human driver would not make this mistake.

About 3 years ago I started a job driving people around my city. This changed my attitude toward self driving cars. Now I hope they don't replace humans until after I retire.





Machines have been replacing humans and taking their jobs for hundreds of years. I know it will eventually happen to human drivers.
