I am at the moment “Playing with It”. Now it may be running in a W7 mode, I don’t know.
So far I cannot see much difference between 7 &10 yes there are bits of work around! To get it simm to 7. For my document files ( not looked at photo files yet).
I am impressed with the speed that you get with a solid state drive. The only downside it that I have got from. 1T HD to 250 gb. Also the W10 software and other bits take up about 90gb of the SSD. Maybe I should have gone for a 500gb instead.
However I have bought 2 new 1TB external hard drives to store photos and family tree files. I still have my older external HD’s which I will use for long term backup of old files.
These new 1TB drives are a lot less than 1/4 the size of my old 1TB HD.
In a few months I will change my Tower PC to W10 & SSD. All being well.
Q for Ricky what did you not like with W10 to go back to W7 so I know what to watch out for.
