Although I have known it all along. It has just really struck me with Donís post, that the Hebburn that I knew just didnít exist years ago.
Way back There was just Hebburn Colliery then Hebburn Quay came into being as the shipbuilding got going.
Then with the likes of Reyrolleís etc. Hebburn Newtown was built.
So now it extends much further but with little industry.
