Strange until I was writing this query, I had ignored or more likely not twigged the Byron name.
Nowt to do with lord Byron etc. But their is a strange connection to the name.
My wife’s G. G/F was named Byron Stephen Shucker 1845-1875.
Some errors. Due to army records, Boynom instead of Byron then just plain Stephen.
My wife and her 4 sisters and their mother never knew the link of the street name back to their ancestor.
Only my wife knows about this as the others have long since died.
