BEAUMONT STREET: Built in or before 1911. Demolished c.1966.
This street was doglegged. The south side almost reached the present field at the back of the Clock. The north side came out onto St. Oswald Road, opposite the present School.
Named after: Village and civil parish in the City of Carlisle district of Cumbria, England.
