BERESFORD AVENUE: Accessed via Johnston Avenue, Toner Avenue and Kelly Road. The east side built on land that was previously Sandy Bottom Lake.
12 residential homes - 2 detached, 7 semi-detached and 3 terrace houses. Built c.1961.
In 1850, this land was known as ‘North Burn Close’; occupied by Matthew Laws, and leased from landowner Cuthbert Ellison.
