Re: BLINDBURN STREET
In the 1950s at the top of of Blindburn St was a small holding over the lane ran by Charlton's. I remember going in for a look to see an absolutely massive sow with its piglets. I think they kept ponies there aswell. They took the Ponies round the back lanes and charged per ride up the lane. You'd sit on the Pony pretending you were a cowboy
and the fella walked the pony along the lane and back. They came round with a Horse & Trap that held a few kids at a time..
