My wife has just found an old photo (below) of her Grand father (could be her G Grandfather). Some of the small medallions in the regalia make it fairly obvious that he was a member of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes but, I cannot find any reference to the bold information to be seen on the cuffs and apron... County Lodge, KOM, 1535. Can anyone solve the mystery? The photograph was taken in a studio....W. Brown Gibson, 14 Oxford Street, Newcastle upon Tyne.
On the back in handwriting...Grandad Brooke, which is my wife's nee name.
