The fore part is section 7 Duncan McFarlan’s squad in early 60’s.
The chap in the black jacket could well be a younger Harry Wright section leader of section 6. I worked in 6. From 1959 to 1966.
The wall pillar on the left is where section 6 ends and beyond that is section 5, 4,3& 2
Section 5 was Joe Banks, his son Jimmy was also in that section.
Section 4 was Peter Greenwood, my best man Harry Spanner worked in that squad.
Sections 3&2 cannot remember the section leaders names.
There was a chap called Woodward.
Tracers Nancy Burt, Anne ??
In one of the offices on the left just before the far doors was Wilf Watson an old RAF chap.
Chief Draughtsman Mr. Usherwood ?Tommy?
Peter Greenwood died of a heart attack in Knaresborough April ish 1975 when leaving home to travel up to Washington DHS building where we were doing a refurb.
He had ran into the back of a bin waggon I understand and I got his car after it was repaired.
That was a Monday morning. I know because I was sent up to Washington the following day to take over his job on the site and I was there until Xmas 1975.
I never got back to my old job in the design office but went into the estimating dept.
