Our contract expires in Aug 2020 but can get out now due to the problems that we have had and are having.
There has been a fault on the line since the beginning, somewhere near or at the Openreach/BT green box approx. 2 km away.
That has been fixed at long last we understand, and there is an improvement is speed.
However if we are using our PC, tablets etc the “signal drops off” and we get a notification “cannot connect to the server” or “ the connection with the server has been lost”.
If connecting to the Board all seems to be OK, but connect to the Daily Express and problems, Daily Mail is better conn. As are other newspapers.
Connect to the BBC news and we have often have problems.
The signal from the router is strong.
We are considering switching to Sky as we already have Sky TV. Our daughter next door has all Sky and they have no problems at all. But they have a business connection.
It appears to me that Plusnet in our area is somewhat lacking. “The pipes there but not much flow through it”.
