The person on the left supporting a cap is GED TAYLOR.The person on the right is PETER EMMERSON,both went to GLEGWELL [1950-55]Peter lived in dunston st,he was in my class at GLEGWELL,he is on many old photos from our cadet days in the 50s he was a member ofHMS KELLY unit down ELLISON ST.I was with theARMY CADETS also in ELLISON ST.Like me he left HEBBURN in the 60s.About 2 years ago I met him in HEBBURN over a pint and had a good chinwag.talking about theGOOD old days being brought up POST WAR days.I know GED TAYLOR passed away quite a few years ago,GED went through as kids from early school years attending the QUAY SCHOOL GLEGWELL ARMY CADETS,the TA,he travelled all over the world as a welder, ged was a real CHARACTER.The reason for wearing the cap he fell on the electric line at HEBBURN station when he was about 13[14 years old so was badly burnt from the head down.he was lucky to be alive some railway worker threw his coat over GED and pulled him free. GED lived in HOLYSTONE ST.
