Here is some information from the book, The Streets of Hebburn':
The Ellison Arms: There were two pubs with this name:
Ellison Arms (1): Demolished. Was about 50 yards behind and diagonally to the right of the Banks of the Tyne, standing roughly on the corner of the present new road, Windmill Way.
Ellison Arms (2): Demolished. Later became the Banks of The Tyne; looking north, it was diagonally left, across from the Colliery Club.
The Banks of the Tyne: Demolished c.1995. Known as ‘The Hut’, previously named ‘The Ellison Arms’. Across from the Colliery Club.
