Geordie is recovering from surgery in the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, having had a local anaesthetic, when the nurse asks him how he’s feeling. “Ah’m aalreet,” he replies, “but ah didn’t like the four-letter word the doctor used in surgery.” “What did he say?” asked the nurse. Geordie replied, “OOPS!”
Geordie was in charge of the luggage at the airport. He got the sack and is now awaiting trial with 2,760 cases to be taken into account.
