I had 3 cousins - Margaret, Josie and Jackie. He came back from the Far East from the army as a paraplegic. He was in a wheelchair the rest of his life.
Colin Thompson mentioned my cousin Josie and her husband Roy. Colin and I grew up together - many fond memories. Holiday at their caravan at Seahouses and just hanging about. It was such a great neighbourhood.
When I first left school, I worked in the coop butcher shop. I think my boss's name was Walter. The Challenge was the big heavy bike with the meat in the basket.
I would also like to thank Norman for getting me in touch with AJG in California. We had a great chat. I was born in Prendwick Avenue; he great up around the corner on Lambley Crescent.
The website is the best! Keep up the good work, Norman!
