Re: Glasgow Hotel Attacks
I feel that when asylum seekers arrive in the UK they should be kept in well appointed holding centres, that cater for families and singles alike, everyone treated in the same way, no accommodation in houses, flats, hotels and the like. The claim for asylum should be checked quite soon after the asylum seeker arrives, no hold ups, a decision should be taken as quickly as possible as to whether asylum is granted or not, if asylum is not granted then back they go to whatever country they are from, if that is not possible, then back to the last country they were in most probably France, which it has to be said is a civilised country. Fine if the applicant wants to appeal but the appeal must not be funded by the British tax payer and the appeal must be made in the country they are returned to.
