after dropping wor lass off at felling square hairdressers,i proceeded to park my pick up truck at the top of the high street and venture into greggs for a sausage sandwich and a cup of coffee,so getting back to the truck with keys in one hand, scalding hot coffee in the other, and sausage sandwich in paper under my arm,i opened the truck ready to place the coffee in holder provided, when i heard a scuffle,i had put the sandwich, still wrapped on the canopy behind the cab, well oportunity knock,s,there was bread bun and sausage all over the canopy with sausages rolling onto the path, everything destroyed,i have never seen seagulls as big, only two of them, they swiftly departed when they saw me,i realised afterwards that if the polis station on sunderland road had been open, and not up for sale i could have reported this "fellony"to them.
