When out on my road bike on Friday and getting close to our campsite, I passed a house/ farm with a very large awning or marquee out side and sticking up at the back of it was an aircraft tail fin. I realised that the was a Spitfire tail.
I could not see anything else due to hedging but had the impression that there was nearly a whole aircraft.
Regretfully I was unable to stop as it had started to rain and only one mike to got after 20 mile. And a B.Q. To get ready for.
Never had time to go back to have a better look.
I assume itís a replica not an actual Spitfire.
Will not be up in that area again until next year.
