The support ships Dynamic Stabilising System went down and ship moved off position by 200 meters enough to snap the UB.
His dive buddy was dragged away from the manifold and got up onto the dive bell platform at 90 meters.
It was all recorded on film via cameras in the bell on divers head cameras and that of a ROV that was sent down.
In theory Chris only had enough breathing gas for 5 mins from his bailout cylinders on his back.
He was pulled into the bell and 40 mins after line cut was given Mouth to mouth. The bell man was shocked that Chris came round in a very short time and was almost back to normal by the time the bell and all three men were brought into the support ships chambers.
He was back diving in 4 weeks after being fully checked over.
You were able to watch all that went on. It was fascinating to watch.
It was also. in the Mirror a few days ago.
