There were two brothers and they were called Falconer. They were both officers in the Salvation Army as well and lived in Wellington Street and neither of them married. They had a book about the history of Hebburn which sadly disappeared after their deaths. The oldest brother used to collect and deliver radios on a tricycle with a box in front and they were brilliant at their job but sadly they were phased out by the transistor. They were real olde worlde gentlemen. It was people like them who made Hebburn.
