Re: Dr. Miller and family...
In the late 50s I was in the TA at Ellison st drill hall Royal Artillery,being a signaler we used to go to Scarborough Burnison Barracks for training, whitch was 2 minutes walk from the sea,near the sea front is Peasholm park boating lake still there the Barracks are flats.
These 2 venues are mentioned in DR MILLERS [MAJOR] experience during the war of the bombardment of Scarborough 1941 and him a Citation for bravery,going into a house in the town that had been hit by a shell where he gave help to folk buried in the rubble.
