Re: Dr. Miller and family...
Whereas my dad had been extremely fit in his younger days, by the time I got to know him he had been discharged from his role as RSM, Royal Artillery with a 100% disability pension. His service in the Burma jungle left him with chronic osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis. He was a cripple and spent months in hospital, on and off, but when he was at home, Dr Miller used to visit him and I suspect they reminisced about their time in the army during the war. It helped to take my dad's mind off his constant pain
