The once great TSB has been passed from pillar to post over the years. With the original takeover by Lloyds who didn't really want it, then, forced to slit by the Gov't, sold and re-sold by various share/stake holders and, has had major problems with its very costly IT system, now owned by Spanish (lender Bank) Sabadell. All part of the asset stripping culture of the UK. We have to admit that shopping and banking has changed so much that banks can't afford the keep the smaller bank branches open to business at any cost. The one thing I do miss is the good old Building Societies that give you a good return on investments & savings Etc.
