Tried to pump it up in hope that it was a slow puncture. Just managed to put some air in tyre which would enable the lady to use less effort in pushing.
I could have repaired if puncture had been in the front tyre.
The problem with the rear wheel on her electric bike is the the motor is in the rear hub and to remove the wheel to fix the puncture would mean disconnecting the wiring, know nowt about the connection.
There was a lot of other stuff around the rear wheel, mudguards, panniers etc that trying without wheel removal very difficult.
So regretfully I had to leave her to it.
I did advise her to get fitted a pair of Slime inner tubes which seal up punctures.
She did not have with her a pump or puncture kit. She did have a very nice Go Pro camera on the bike.
As the lady said that she was at a campsite near Bamburgh Inwent to it and got hold of some staff who went in his Landy to help.
Just hope he could get her bike in the back.
