The Old Stations
Posted by Stan Wears on October 2, 2020, 10:34 am
When you think of Hebburn station and how quaint it was yet destroyed when the Metro came. Tynemouth station is a work of art in wrought iron Scroll work and has been kept. I am wondering if this is Grade II listed. I'm sure a lot more stations could have been saved. When I am waiting for a train even in Newcastle I always spend time admiring the Victorian architecture.
