Re: Mr and Mrs Trump.(sorry Eddy)
Stan, I'm no historian - just old and fortunate to have a reasonably good memory. Whilst we are not able to chat in a conversational manner, this board offers a very good alternative but I am concerned we have stolen Eddy's post. BTW, it is only 2-1 as you easily won with the Hawkes girders which everyone who visits the central has seen - but didn't know. However, here is another oddity. Lucozade. Originally created as Glucozade in Newcastle by chemist William Walker Hunter. Everyone knows about Parson's and Stephenson but it is the quirky items which can be so interesting and forgotten.
Ending on Eddy's theme of the Trumps. Our Boris may be a "tossa" - but he's the best tossa around. I think Mac has a point. If contracting the virus keeps Donald quiet - he has a much better chance of winning another term. Anyway, everyone knows the American presidents don't run the country. Those in charge keep very quiet and leave the figurehead to get shot. A bit like the Roman emperors employing food tasters.
