what a terrible shock i have had today,i went to buy a new battery for my ford ranger pick up truck, the battery that is on it was the same one that was on when i bought it,and has been a bit reluctant to start the truck, the onset of cold weather definetly sorts the good and bad batteries out,so i proceeded to the battery shop, quoted the make, model, and registration number, yes said the man we have one in stock, fully charged, with a three year guarantee, that has a list price of £160.00, i nearly fell through the floor, like jethro tull you see, im livin in the past,so the man said but we can do you a deal on that, i will do that battery for £96.00 vat inclusive, which seemed very canny as it is a big battery,so i paid up and got it,got a load of lip from two of my sons when i got home saying that i have had a knock on the heed paying that much , they definetly live in the past.
