Re: Billy Hudson's shop in Carr St
That building at the time the photo was taken, was the british legions they used to keep their poppies there and other things they needed. They also used it as a changing room before the pavilion was opened. And then walk down to king George's field to play their games. That framework of wood behind the car also was our makeshift goal for games of football. needless to say the glass in them was soon boarded up.
