Re: Redhouse Farm, Hebburn 1910-11...
There are a few properties similar to that in the dales just North of us, with the outbuilding out back and some land you could well pay between £650,000 upwards. One near us thats been extended to 3 x the size plus big garage for a car collection has just been sold for £3.25M.
The drystone walling around its various fields took a squad of 3 about 5 years. This squad have worked our valley and the one over since 2006 till 2019 and last week were back repairing a. Damaged wall hit by a 4x4. The cost of stonewalling was about £450 for 5 meters a few years ago. To what hight and thickness eludes me.
